摘要
Vehicles powered by electric motors are represented by electric vehicles (EV) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEV). Presented here is a method for driving a vehicle using an electric motor. Recent years, permanent magnet synchronous motors have been more often used on the most advanced EVs and HEVs. This paper describes the background and the characteristics of permanent magnet synchronous motors for driving vehicles, and the prospects for future development.
