Synthesis and characterization of novel μ-oxamido copper(II) binuclear complexes

摘要
Six novel mu-oxamido copper(II) binuclear complexes have been prepared and identified as [CuLCu(obze)]ClO4. xH(2)O and [CuLCu(obzp)]ClO4. xH(2)O [obzeH(3) = N-(5-bromobenzoato)-N'-(2-aminoethyl)oxamid, obzpH(3) = N-(5-bromobenzoato)-N'-(2-aminopropyl)oxamid, and L = 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), or 4,4'-bimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (Mebipy)]. Based on elemental analyses, IR, UV spectroscopy and.molar conductance analyses, the complexes are proposed to have an oxamido-bridged structure and with Cu(II) in a planar environment.
