摘要
The KArlsruhe TRitium Neutrino experiment (KATRIN) is a direct neutrino mass experiment with sub-eV sensitivity for v-masses from tritium decay spectrum. It combines a high luminosity windowless molecular tritium gas source and a high resolution electrostatic retarding spectrometer (MAC-E Filter) to investigate the beta-spectrum near the endpoint with very high precision. In case for no neutrino mass signal, the KATRIN sensitivity is m (v)< 0.2 eV (90% CL.) after 3 years of measurement. A v-mass signal of m (v)= 0.35 (0.30) eV can be detected with a 5 (3) sigma evidence.
