摘要
A weapon's detection system for airport baggage screening is described which is designed to be used in x-ray passenger baggage screening. The screening of passenger hand-held baggage aims to eliminate potentially threatening objects entering the aircraft cabin. The Passenger Screening aims to restrict potentially threatening persons or items entering the aircraft. Items that are restricted on the whole are those that pose a potential risk to the safety of other passengers, or the aircraft itself. A potential benefit of aiding the detection of threat items could be made void by the increase in screening time.
