摘要：
This paper deals with the problem of estimation of ratio of two population means using auxiliary information in stratified random sampling. A product estimator of ratio of two population means is proposed. Its Bias and mean squared error expressions are derived under large sample approximation. Theoretical condition under which the proposed estimator is more efficient than conventional estimator is obtained and the result is supported by a numerical illustration.
