摘要：
In this work we implemented real-time image encoder for Digital Video Recording (DVR) system. TMS320C6201 DSP is used for image compression. The algorithm is based on JPEG and motion detection is added to remove temporal data redundancy. Fast algorithms and realtime techniques are used for optimization. We improve encoding speed with proper distribution of memories that have different speeds. The separation of data processing and data transfer by DMA (Direct Memory Access) resulted to stable processing. We could achieve high performance and stability by use of TMS320C6201 in real-time.
