Insertion of dihalocarbenes into Ge-H and Sn-H bonds under phase transfer catalysis conditions

摘要：
The reaction of hydrostannanes and germanes with dihalocarbenes generated from haloforms or from sodium trichloroacetate under phase transfer conditions was studied. The dihalomethyl trialkyl stannanes and germanes were obtained with isolated yield up to 86%.
