摘要
Cracks on the surface of structural elements are often the result of fatigue problems. The design of these cracks will be necessary and important for construction engineering. In steel constructions the crack length is important. In contrast, the crack width is ordinary neglected. According to the inspection intervals the crack length and the crack growth must be documented. At the Departments of Structural Concrete and Masonry and Steel and Timber Structures of the BTU Cottbus algorithms are developed in order to be able to calculate cracks with commercial digital cameras and programs.
