{(E)-4-[(1,5-Dimethyl-3-oxo-2-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)imino-methyl]benzoato}triphenyltin(IV)

The title compound, [Sn(C6H5) (3)(C19H16N3O3)], is a fourcoordinate Sn-IV complex, with a distorted tetrahedral geometry and one disordered ( 0.54: 0.46) phenyl ring. The Schiff base carboxylate group acts as a monodentate ligand coordinating through the deprotonated hydroxyl O atom. In the crystal structure, a weak offset face-to-face aromatic pi-pi stacking interaction can be found between the pyrazole ring and the benzene ring of 4-formylbenzoic acid. The centroid-to-centroid distance is 3.858 (2) angstrom and the interplanar distance is 3.375 (4) angstrom.
