摘要
The so-called principle of correspondence, which requires a matching-up of D 's mens rea with the harm for which he is held criminally liable, has been criticised on the grounds that it conflicts with other fundamental principles and that it does not always have a role to play. This article seeks to answer these criticisms and defend the raison d'etre of a version of the correspondence principle.
