摘要
The objective of verify how operational management has influenced the environmental sustainability of Brazilian Federal Institutions of Higher Education (IFES). Institutional isomorphism served as a basis to explain the behavioral issues of the institutions studied. The survey was carried out with 104 IFES, based on the operational management indicators required by the Federal Court of Auditors and the GreenMetric indicator used in the concept of sustainable university created by the University of Indonesia, thus aiming to ensure environmental management actions. A logistic regression model was used with data for the period for the year 2017. The results show that the calculated coefficients were significant to explain the probability of the independent variables (operational indicators) causing an impact on the dependent variable (GreenMetric indicator), thus demonstrating the occurrence of the mimicry mechanism in the institutions that hold the GreenMetric indicator.
