Determination of critical current density in bulk YBCO superconductors

摘要：
The hysteretic AC losses in high-temperature superconductors with extremely hard pinning were investigated. The method of determining the critical current density j(c) from the damping of the oscillation of a magnet levitated over superconductor was suggested. The j(c) values for a set of bulk melt-textured samples were obtained.
