摘要
A comparative study of the anti-bruchid activity and chemical composition of the essential oils of a germplasm collection of 18 Ocimum basilicum accessions was undertaken. Some essential oils inhibited the oviposition (repellency) and others caused mortality (toxicity) of the stored pulses pest Callosobruchus maculatus. Methyl chavicol and/or linalool were present in the active oils. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
