摘要
Hydrostatic weighing of para-aramid fibres in different liquids demonstrated the necessity of considering their penetration into the structure of the fibres and calculating the volume ratio of fibres in the composite in consideration of this situation. It is recommended that realization of the strengthening of fibres in a composite be considered as the real strength of the fibres related to the hypothetical strength corresponding to the Rosen model of accumulation of breaks. Thermal or chemical plasticization of the matrix allows increasing the degree of strengthening of the fibres due to a decrease in the stress concentration factor Composites based on SVM fibres can form highly and maximally reinforced systems with a fibre volume content of up to 100%. The elastic-strength properties of the fibres are fully realized, but the shear strength decreases significantly. The compressive and shear strength of composites is determined by the strength of the interfibrillar structure of the fibres and is weakly dependent on the properties of the binder.
