摘要
This article focuses on the concept of health-oriented leadership in virtual teamwork as well as the resulting implications for leaders. The leaders' interaction with their own health (leaders' SelfCare) serves as a basis for a health-promoting leadership of employees (StaffCare) taking working conditions into account. There is also an exemplary role for employees concerning their own health-related behavior (employees' SelfCare). In virtual teamwork there are specific requirements for a health-oriented leadership as employees work together in diverse locations. Therefore, performance, levels of stress and job satisfaction are more difficult to assess in this form of collaboration. Interventions to promote self-care of leaders may include, for example, training to prepare for working in virtual teams as a supporting measure. In the context of leadership of employees, condition-oriented prevention issues, such as clearly defined and communicated regulations concerning extended accessibility should be considered. Health-oriented self-care of employees can be promoted by the provision of (online-based) measures, such as stress management and self-organization.
