摘要
in this paper, energy modeling and management are conducted to reduce energy usage in the building. Several energy usage measures are proposed, which can be divided into active and passive design strategies. Inactive design strategy, more efficient devices are proposed to be installed, whereas, in passive design strategy, a specific insulator is suggested to be utilized. In this research, a calibration process is conducted to provide accurate results. It can be observed that approximately 36% of energy-saving equivalent to RM451,754 of electricity bill annually can be saved if all the measures are implemented. The payback period around 3.78 years can be obtained by considering the gross estimation of investment is RM 1,708,500.
