摘要
An optimal operating strategy is proposed for integrated energy systems under economic, environmental, and social benefits based on a modified cuckoo search (MCS) algorithm. Each optimal operating strategy is a solution to a multiobjective optimization problem with non-linear constraints. The MCS algorithm is applied for finding out the optimal operating strategy of integrated energy systems. The cuckoo search (CS) algorithm is modified to increase the convergence speed where the first modification relates to the size of the Levy flight step size and the second modification includes the addition of information exchange between the top eggs or the best results. The proposal is implemented to the integrated IEEE 10-generator energy system. The obtained results confirm the proposal's effectiveness for optimization of economic, environmental, and social benefits of integrated energy systems. The particle swarm optimization (PSO) and CS algorithms are used to make comparisons showing the superiority of the MCS algorithm, as well as confirming the MCS algorithm's potential, especially in integrated energy systems.
