摘要
Polypropylene based compounds are increasingly attractive because of their low cost, processability and good balance of properties. In recent year, metallocene ethylene-octene copolymers have started displacing EPR and EPDM as impact modifier for PP. This study examines the effect of compounding conditions and composition on the properties of talc/ethylene-octene copolymer/PP compounds. Product quality is determined in terms of the mechanical properties; filler and copolymer dispersion and polymer matrix degradation during twin-screw processing.
