摘要
Noise in mesoscopic electron transport is usually compared to Schottky's result, which assumes independent charge transfers (i.e. the transfered charge obeys Poisson statistics). Here we discuss an intriguing example in which interactions in a quantum dot lead to a strongly enhanced shot noise. Studying the full counting statistics it is shown that the underlying transport process consists of an infinite number Poisson processes of arbitrary order.
