摘要
Nowadays, migration is a very common phenomenon. It is determined by the increased mobility of people, easier relocation and greater opportunities to find a job in a foreign country. Nowadays, also in Poland, immigrants are a common phenomenon, more and more often employed by companies located even in small towns. Migration itself is also the subject of many years of research and scientific deliberations, which have contributed to the formulation of numerous migration theories, identification of the main migration factors or development of migration typologies. However, there is still a visible lack of publications presenting the phenomenon of migration in relation to enterprises, and in particular considering the issues of migrant labour management in such entities. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to present how Polish companies approach the issues related to the management of migrant labour. The methodology applied included survey research, on the basis of which analyses of a quantitative nature were carried out. Research has shown that Polish companies are characterized by a positive attitude towards the employment of immigrants, which results, for example, from the fact of employing them on the basis of an employment contract. On the other hand, Polish companies are also aware of the challenges of managing migrant labour.
