摘要
In this paper a comparison of experimentally obtained results related to mechanical properties, modulus of elasticity, short-time creep and relaxation of austenitic stainless steels AISI 303 and AISI 316Ti is presented. That way, engineering stress-strain diagrams for both materials, temperature dependence of mechanical properties and modulus of elasticity at different elevated temperatures as well as short-time creep and relaxation curves for selected stress levels at selected temperatures are shown. The data about mentioned material properties, creep behavior and relaxation characteristics may be of importance for structure designers who are involved in design of structure components made of such materials and subjected to similar environmental conditions.
