The interpretation and combination of these legal and social rules represent an unknown aspect to the reader of our times. In this article I will analyze the key factors that both societies impose around the marital question. This objective demands a study of Muslim laws, canons of Council of Trent and manuals about good behavior written by who is considered to be the important humanist of Spain's Golden Age.
