摘要
The Structured Industrial Practice Studies (SIPS) form part of the laboratory program included in the degree program at Glasgow Caledonian University. The scheme seeks to develop effective interaction of academic and work-based learning in a way that takes into account the needs of students learning and the academic course requirements, while fitting in with employer priorities. The first phase of development of the SIPS was concerned with its introduction into a broadly based Bachelor of Engineering degree. The second of the project which implemented SIPS into the BSc honors Instrumentation with Applied Physics program is described.
