An approach to synthesize core-shell nanoobjects with high efficiency through the coupling between the cores of core-shell nanosphere, that were produced by a one-pot anionic polymerization was discussed. The core-core coupling controlled by the shell-shell repulsion explained the formation of the fiberlike and the graftlike nanoobjects. The transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) observations indicated that the cores became sections of a cylinder after the coupling of core-shell nanospheres formed a fiber. The results show that the core-shell structured nanospheres, nanofibers and nanografts could be produced with high efficiency through anionic polymerization.
