摘要
This paper presents an angular composite model (ACM) for the sea surface bistatic scattering analysis and derives the critical scattering region division formula. When the bistatic angles of a facet meet the division condition, the Kirchhoff approximation (KA) is applied to calculate the scattering in specular region due to its dominance. Otherwise, the small perturbation method (SPM) is adopted to evaluate the scattering in diffuse region owing to its prominent role. Numerical results are compared with experimental data in different incident angles and wind speeds. The comparison of numerical evaluation shows that the new ACM can provide accurate numerical results for the sea surface scattering.
