Probabilistic Analysis in Revealing of Landslides Triggering Factors in Cisampih, Sumedang, West Java']Java

Cisampih area is geographically located at 108 degrees 9' 15 '' longitude and 6 degrees 52' 58 '' latitude and administratively located in the Jatigede district, Sumedang regency, West Java province. This area is included to the red zone area on the mass movement vulnerability map from PVMBG. Red zone on the map means that mass movement often occurs in that area. This study aims to determine the influence of geological factors that are suspected to affect the landslide occurrence in the area of research. These factors are the strike and dip of rock, the direction of previous landslides and the slope. The method used in this research is to identify the correlation between these factors to the occurrence of the landslide. The results showed that this area has a strike/ dip between N69 degrees E/28 degrees - N159 degrees E/65 degrees, the azimuth of previous landslides is N137 degrees E - N247 degrees E and slope between 16 degrees-55 degrees. The results of this study can be a warning of landslide hazard for other areas that have the same geological characteristics.
