摘要：

The article by Patel et al. provided new analyses of two large cohorts that are largely confirmatory of known risk factors for cancer. Although this work was provocative, there is still work to be done to demonstrate the practical utility of describing cancer as a single endpoint and to validate multicancer detection tests as an evidence-based strategy to improve cancer outcomes.
