摘要
A method of the experimental study of the diffraction of acoustic waves with the use of the maximum length sequences is described. This method allows one to measure the pulse response of a system, which makes it a suitable instrument for a diffraction experiment. As an example, the results of an observation of the edge waves appearing at the base of a cylinder at the normal incidence of the acoustic waves were presented. The results of the measurements are compared with the results of the numerical simulation.
