摘要：
Measurement of earth resistance is the basic measurement in the evaluation of the effectiveness of protection against indirect contact in the TT network system, using automatic power off as a protection measure. It is also necessary in assessing the effectiveness of lightning protection. The article describes the characteristics of the methods used to measure the resistance and resistivity of the soil, as well as the principles of measurements. The authors also assessed the effect of various soil types on the effectiveness of earthing.
