摘要
The paper presents the results of fieldwork conducted in one of the top Romanian chemical companies in respect with organizational climate supporting productivity improvement. The study was part of a wider research aiming at identifying and implementing specific interventions to improve company's overall performance. The results emphasized strengths in the area of organizational climate supporting high degrees of performance, such, as: employee involvement; client orientation; teamwork; social responsibility; openness to information and knowledge. As well, weaknesses that must be minimized in order to improve performance and success were pointed out: rigid, centralized structure; high employee turnover; over-centralized decision-making; inadequate communication system; low employee morale.
