摘要
Because of Terahertz many excellent characteristics, it will have important applications for next generation communication. This paper presents the scattering attenuation characteristics of building materials in Terahertz range. According to the Kirchhoff scattering theory, the modified Fresnel equation is derived by introducing the Rayleigh scattering factor to calculate the scattering energy loss. Combined with the surface features of the building material samples, the scattering propagation model of the building to the Terahertz wave is obtained. The reflection scattering loss of the Terahertz band is modeled by the building material parameters and surface measurement results in the model.
