Quality investigation of the surface subjected to electromechanical hardening

摘要：
Quality of the end surface of the cylindrical bodies subjected to electromechanical hardening is investigated. Treatment speed variation for this type surfaces noticeably changes conditions in the treatment zone, as well as quality parameters of the hardened layer. Tests carried out enabled us to evaluate effect of thermal treatment regimes on hardened layer discretization, microhardness and surface roughness.
