摘要
This paper describes the function of a noise detection and suppression filter that uses fuzzy logic techniques and aims both at improved performance and reduced computational complexity. It is applicable to color images and outperforms other similar reported techniques in terms of quality indexes and image detail preservation. The filter specializes in the detection and elimination of random and fixed valued impulse noise. The improved performance of the algorithm is confirmed by experimental results.
