摘要
This paper proposes a method to identify the complex. multi parameter system of a coal fired power plant, in order to achieve desired compositions of fly ash as a by product. The analysis is based on the actual data obtained from a 700 MW power plant in Kyushu. A concept of modularisation of parameters is proposed. The system identification was done by employing artificial intelligence applications. A method is proposed to determine the most suited coal type for a particular Ay-ash composition required, and following the same method, how to determine the most appropriate burning conditions for a selected coal type is shown. The outcome of this research is very important in dealing with the long lasted problem of controlling the composition of Ay-ash for a given power output, to do away with the cost of disposal and environmental hazard and to achieve commercially viable objectives.
