摘要：
This paper will introduce the need for research activities done by undergraduate, Master and PhD students as part of their engineering studies. The paper will present the students engaged in research activities supervised by the main author of this paper as a case study of our faculty. Student research activities are becoming an important part of the engineering educational program at the University of Craiova in the last years.
