A Research on Crisis Management in Organizations

The purpose of this research is to point out the effects of 2008-2009 financial crisis over the production sectors in Malatya and to understand how the organizations coped with this crisis. Currently active 99 out of 176 organizations working on different production sectors from the 1(st) and 2(nd) Organized Industry Region in Malatya were examined carefully in 2010. Basic definitional statistical analyses (frequency and percentage dispersions) were used as a method. At the end it was found out that a large portion of the organizations were affected negatively from the crisis. And the main reason for that stands the economic factors.
