摘要
This paper applies the Manchester code to encoding and decoding as the research and development direction Because the DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) communications protocol's packets use Manchester code, it is detect the logical state of edge transitions to decode and encode, instead of reading the high/low level of the signal, so it can't be processed with common NRZ (Non Return Zero Code) code. At present, there is no single controller for encoding or decoding Manchester code on the market, if the manufacturer develops and designs by itself, the company must have engineers with DALI's work experience, and it will take time to carry out complex algorithm development. In order to reduce personnel costs and development time, general lighting manufacturers will choose to purchase commercially available the DALI master and the DALI slave to use with original equipment manufacturer's software. This will cause the DALI slave cannot be integrated with the power supply of the LED luminaire, and the control interface will be limited to the original factory. (For example, DALI master of manufacturer A needs to be used with the software interface of manufacturer A.) Therefore, this paper develops a set of algorithms to complete the encoding and decoding of Manchester code, and independent develops the master and slave of DALI-2, so the DALI-2 slave is easy to integrate with the luminaire power supply, and can also be used with the self-designed software interface to control the DALI-2 master. The development of a DALI-2 intelligent lighting control system from software, firmware and hardware design is not only has highly expandability, but also has the advantage of high design flexibility, and can be integrated with the IoT (Internet of Things) in the future.
