摘要
Landslide is a natural geology disaster, and always brings great damage to human. The best way to reduce the loss caused by landslide is to predict a coming disaster. Landslide is very popular in southwest China, especially in Muchuan county, Sichuan province. 90% landslide disasters are caused by rainfall. The five bottom factors caused landslide was drew out after collect statistics. Then the landslide zonation was based on these factors. The zonation result was checked to be trustful. Then, overlay with the rain precipitation, we can predict which town will in high risk, and where will be safe. With the support of database and Geography Information System, we finished an alarm system for local government to disaster-reduce and hazard prevention. Thus they can get well prepared before crisis.
