Determination of the cage structure of La@C82

摘要
Purified C-13 enriched La@C-82 was produced. The hyperfine structure (hfs) coupling constants of C-13 and La-139 nuclei for enriched La@C-82 were measured by an electron and nuclear double resonance (ENDOR) measurement. The hfc constants were compared with those obtained by the analysis of the electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra for natural La@C-82. From the comparison between the two results the molecular structure of C-82 carbon cage of La@C-82 and some dynamics of La metal ion within the molecule were deduced.
