摘要
This paper examines the failure to find a consistent effect for fit between strategy and HR in the field of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM). We examine the theoretical and empirical problems that might lead to an absence of consistent support for the fit effect even when it exists. Based on this analysis, we propose suggestions for future research examining the efficacy of fitting HR to strategy.
