摘要
Quantum conductance characteristics of a mesoscopic superconducting quantum point contact are studied under the effect of an electric field. The conductance is computed by using the Landauer-Buttiker formula. The energy of the tunneled electrons is calculated by using a Monte-Carlo technique. The obtained results show the following features: (1) The decrease of the conductance as the temperature increase. (2) The conductance exhibits a peak as a function of the bias voltage. This peak changes sign when the direction of the electric field changes. The results are explained according to the quantum chaos in the conductance.
