An experimental study of the acoustic characteristics of a liquid in blind pipes

摘要
Results of an experimental investigation of acoustic characteristics of a column of viscous liquid in a pipe with an elastic end cover (gauge chamber) are presented. Pipes of three diameters were tested in a wide frequency range. The amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency characteristics of a column of liquid in a pipe are obtained. A mathematical model of the acoustic characteristics of the setup is proposed, A good agreement is obtained between the calculations and test data.
