Nonlocal properties of Josephson contact between anisotropic superconductors

The physical characteristics of high-j(c) Josephson contact between anisotropic superconductors are studied. The equation for the phase distribution is derived and the solution of this equation describing Abrikosov-like vortex (AJ vortex) is obtained. The electromagnetic characteristics, such as the magnetic field and current distribution, Gibbs free energy, and lower critical field for such an AJ vortex are found. Finally the interaction of the Abrikosov vortex with parallel planar defect in anisotropic superconductor is considered.
