摘要
This paper researches localization based on scatterers and multipath propagation, and the bask principle is that the scatterer and multipath propagation associate the target location. Considering the phase errors in the practical WiFi networks, we use the relative time of flight (ToF) to construct the target localization model, which is based on a single reflection path. So, we first propose a multipath triangle model, which is used to remove the high-order reflection path. Then, we present a method of scatterer selection to assist target localization, in which the locations of the selected scatterers can be inferred. Finally, we use the commercial-grade wireless ray propagation modeling software to evaluate our proposed methods, and the experiment results show that the proposed method can locate the target accurately using only a single AP.
