Dynamic Characteristics Test of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine and Its Associated Drive System with a Rectangular Wave Load

摘要
In order to test the dynamic characteristic of a Permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) and its associated drive system, this paper build a test bench that can four-quadrant torque control and regenerative. During the experiment, the rectangular wave torque load was supplied by the load machine apply to the tested one and make it operate in motoring and generating modes alternately. Downhill of the speed, overshoot and recovery time is the watched indicator in this paper. The waveforms of speed, torque and various voltages and currents were captured during the experimental. It is shown that the proposed test bench can accurately measures the dynamic characteristic of the tested object.
