摘要
The Personality Assessment Inventory (Pm) is considered one of the most internationally used questionnaires for assessment and treatment design in clinical and forensic psychology. The aim of this study was to show the Pm reliability in a Spanish-speaking country, Chile, through a representative sample of people without psychological disorders and a clinical sample, as well as to differentiate scores across samples. A total of 691 adult people, 564 from community and 127 from clinical contexts, composed the sample. Data on the PAI reliability in these populations and differences between samples in the instrument scores were examined. Adequate internal consistency was obtained, and the PAI showed to be adequate and reliable for clinical, personality and treatment-related variables assessment in Spanish-speaking countries.
