Design of printed Yagi-antenna for 5G communication

摘要
This paper takes the monopole antenna as the active element of the printed Yagi-antenna. The antenna has the advantages of small weight, small size and good directivity. The optimal matching and gain of antenna are studied. The 50 Omega microstrip feed used in the active element. Simulation results show that the average gain is 6.9dBi at 3.4 similar to 3.6 GHz, S-11 <-10 dB up to 640 MHZ bandwidth at 3.24 similar to 3.88GHz. The return loss reached - 36dB at 3.5GHz.Through the analysis of simulation data, the requirements of 5G communication antenna are satisfied.
