摘要
This paper investigates one form of technology-enabled work, telecommuting, and its link to work family conflict. Specifically, it examines how the extent of telecommuting is associated with work family conflict, and how this relationship is influenced by the nature of the employee's work. Results suggest an inverse relationship between the extent of telecommuting and work family conflict which was moderated by the nature of the telecommuter's job. These results are interpreted as suggesting that organizations need to understand more completely the nature of a telecommuter's job when anticipating benefits from telecommuting.
