Project risk evaluation by means of Cost-Benefit method

Having entered the European Union, Lithuania receives more and more financial assistance from such relief funds as PHARE, SAPARD, ISPA, FP, etc every year. As the volume of assistance increases, the ability to use it becomes very important, i.e. to prepare right projects, evaluate the risk of project implementation and to ensure common sponsorship Lately many organizations implementing EU projects incur losses due to the failure to asses project implementation risks. The aim of the article - to ground the suitability of Cost-Benefit Method for estimating the risk of project implementation. Tasks: 1. To distinguish main reasons for project failure due to emerging risk; 2. With reference to various authors, to provide the definition of CBA method, define the essence of the method operation; 3. To estimate the implementation risk of such projects as 6 Framework of European Union by means of CBA method.
