摘要
The use of various composition steels for light water RPV in the world and almost 50 years of experience in operation of these steels has shown that Cr-Mo-V steels are less sensitive to thermal and neutron embrittlement. This consideration is very important in the choice of material for a RPV. Therefore, using a 2,25Cr-1Mo RPV steel for a perspective European high-power reactor is a natural choice. This Cr-Mo-V composition of steel also is recommended to use for advanced types of light water reactors in Russia.
